i have a total of 6 inches lift on mine.. and if i hit a bump just right with wheels turned.. i will scrub just a hair.. and i have 35x12.5x15 's on mine.. i would probably suggest going with 33x12.5

I agree. I have 5" of lift, and it swallows my 35/12.5/17s.

Make sure the wheels you buy have adequate backspacing. If you don't go offroad 3" will CLEAR 35s. If you do go offroad 5-6 inches would be better.

I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 xted cab sport.I have 35x12.5x16's on it with a 3" suspension lift.I agree with dishdude,33's would be a better choice, especially if you have the 318,the 35's tend to rob power from the 318.My tires rub on the inner backside of the fenderwell some and when turning tight and slight rollof the truck its really bad,I plan to add 3"'s of body lift to it to resolve the issue.

I have a 3" lift and my 33"s will rub when I hit a bump at full lock. The biggest thing is the wheels. The reason mine do that is it's 16x10 wheels. People like 01DodgeRam1500 have narrow stock wheels so they work. You need to get 8" wheels with the right backspacing if you want to run them and even then you might rub slightly. If you get too high of a backspacing you will rub on the control arms though. Stock wheels seem to do that somewhat.
