get the 5.9 , if you drive it nice it will treat you nice, and has more power than 5.2. i get pretty good gas milage, when you get it though, do a tune up and stuff , so you know its done, i beat the **** outta mine and still have the same tranny and motor. so these things are strong, so have fun choosing
