Rear Differential...CASE CLOSED=)
Yeah I know what you mean. I am focused on doing the gears next. I think it really is the only thing this truck lacks is proper gearing. I'm getting the gears more for just drivability of the truck. The truck has a lot of power, but in certain areas it does struggle. When the truck shifts into overdrive it lacks power until it starts getting going. I think with 4.56 gearing, the truck will have more power in overdrive, and will have an easier time getting up big hills as well. I just want to invest in something that will make a huge impact, and will also make the engines and drivetrain job a lot easier. Casual driving will become even more pleasurable when I know the truck has the gears it wants. After the gearing, the Fastman really seems like the only thing I would like to do. Looking at the truck, there isn't really a whole lot more I want to do. I know there are more things I could do, but nothing that I really want to do. I don't want to dig into the engine and start changing things around. Everyone that does that always seems to have problems with the way the vehicle runs, and it requires special tuning, and I don't really want to fuss with that. I am happy with the way the truck looks and performs, but the fastman and gears will really top this truck off along with HIDs in the headlights and foglights, then I'll be completely satisfied. Then later down the road if the truck can prove to me that it can stay on the road without a major repair, then I will invest in an SCT tuner. For now, I'm just taking it easy, enjoying my truck, and focusing on keeping it running perfect and looking closely after maintainance.
