He has a stock motor. I don't think his headers are such a huge mod. They are just part of the exhaust. I have similar mods minus the headers and gutted cat and have a Hypertech and it works fine. Is it the best? Maybe not but it works fine and seems to have helped it out power wise.

I don't have the Fastman either but neither does he right now. I'd look into the B&G If I was him. Thats all he needs but I'm not sure it will calibrate the speedo. Wasn't the transmission shop supposed to do that for you? What happend?

Well they had a chysler tool to recalibrate, but as we've mentioned before, as WayneC has, only some know how to get it into the 35" sized mode. They only got it to a 33" tire. So it's a little better than before, but really, I'm at still only at stock calibration because the truck came with 275s. So just go with the B&M or SCT, that sucks though, didn't want to have to spend so much, but if that's the only route then I'll just have to wait.

The SCT or B&G are probably the best power wise. If you want it for other features like I did the Hypertech is good. I wanted to be able to calibrate my speedo too and adjust my rev limited and stuff like that. It seemed to help a little power wise too. The B&G I don't think can calibrate the speedo but not 100% sure on that. I don't know what the SCT can do.

I was just looking at an SCT the other day (im planning on picking one up soon, I also plan on doing serious mods thats why ) and from what ive read they do adjust rev. limiters, speedo and all of tha great stuff. Seems like a good buy.

There's a differententry optionthey have to use on the chrysler scan tool to calibrate tires that big, it's "revolutions per mile" rather than a preset tire size selection. I asked the tech about it when he was doing mine.

Definitely wouldn't do the crank position mod with a tuner, as they'll both be playing with the timing and could get you into trouble. Not recommended.

As for the tuners, I haven't used many but from the sounds of it the SCT is a much more versatile and useful tool, especially when it comes to calibrating in ANY mods. I'd be buying myself one if it wasn't for the HP Tuners dream I have going...

I guess Marty over at KRC is too busy lately. I want to get a SCT tuner but isn't KRC the only option? If so I guess I'm kinda screwed.[:@]
