Mopar Performance PCM vs. Superchips
Mopar Performance PCMs had a higher advertised HP and torque gain. On my truck, I compared one against a Hypertech, and thought the Mopar PCM was noticably better. But I did have to run premium to keep from pinging, even with a 180 t-stat and cooler plugs.
yea they dont make mopar pcms any more. The computer altering device that is most prefered is the sct tuner. I havent personally used it, but from what I hear its the bee's knees. Thats comming from namely credible sources.
Oh ok cause I thought the superchips was pretty much the most preferred as far as aftermarket tuners go. I'll check out the SCT's then too.
Oh and I had another question too, I had planned on doing the Crank positioning sensor mod but once I add on a tuner should I put the sensor back to the stock location or is it beneficial to leave it advanced?

B&G Flash is what some guys like but some guys like IndyRamMan seem to have bad luck with it.
Then the SCT Tuner seems to be the way to go if you have that much to spend and want the best out there. I've heard nothing but good about it although then again I haven't heard from too many people with it.
The Hypertechs and Superchips seem okay but they don't even seem to be in the class with either of those.

I just realized I never really got anyones oppinion on one of my questions so here it is again:

Thanks

Well I guess that's my question too. The Superchip, will that work for my truck? I don't plan to do anymore mods to the truck besides the throttle body. Will a superchips work well with mods for K&N intake, Fastman TB, Pacesetter Longtube Headers, and Flowmaster Exhaust? I just want something that will acknowledge the mods I've done, and that can eliminate the rev limiter, and calibrate the 35" tires. Will this do that for me? I just don't really want to spend $600 on a SCT tuner when I don't really plan to go much crazier with mods. So Superchip, yes or no?
