Deep Trans Pan
So I was reading Silver Dodges post for TOTM (congrats again btw) and he mentioned he has a deep trans pan....why? Still learning here so I was wondering why he did or what are the advantages? Just a curious mind wanting to know.
Keep the fluid cooler plus it comes with a drain bolt . So if you do any type of towing , hauling , oversize tires that will produce more heat then normal then the deep pan will help , cooler trans is a happy trans... PML deep trans pan

Yup, more fluid tends to help keep temps lower. This can be a double edged sword though because if you do get hot, more fluid is also harder to cool. I think the pros outway the cons though. I have that same PML pan.
With that pan do they give you any extension or adapter to drop down the filter?
Or does it mount in the stock location?
Is the drain plug magnetic? I assume the pan is aluminum.
Good lookin pan though.
