Whats this? I noticed a clicking noise today from it, put my hand on it and i feel it clicking.. I did the seafoam bit yesterday, got some white smoke, now my engine sounds.. well it sounds kinda like a new car, so now I can hear every little thing thats clicking and clacking lol.. I thought I heard a whine at first, but then realized, wait, thats just the fan sucking air. woa lol.. I couldnt find this in my manual as I dont know the name of what it is or what it does...

 

That is the purge solenoid, a slight clicking sound from it is normal.

It allows the gas fumes to be sucked from the charcoal canister into the engine at the proper time.
Ticking soundis normal.
