Default Powder Coated some stuff today...

Well I figured while I had the diff cover off and I'm putting the round air cleaner on I would snaz it up a little so I powder coated them, whatcha think?

Yeah, you need the gun and oven etc. but I do a lot of PC on the side for extra money. I have a pretty decent garage setup for it.

How much does the equiptment cost to do that?

Yeah I'll do the bottom tomorrow. I already put the front diff back on but it's really not visible anyway.

Costs really depend on how elaborate you want to get. You can buy a gun as cheap as $70. and a toaster oven and do small items. That's kind of how I started but now I have a 7' tall by 3' x 3' oven that I made out of an old house oven I got off of craigslist for free so I can do items as big as ATV frames.

that loooks nice, im thinkin about powder coating my wheels black this summer, my dad has the equipment to powder coat, once i get back home hopefully he will show me how. looks awesome!! nice ATV as well

Thanks, yeah it took about 3 months to build but now I'm tearing around on it!! Can't wait to hit the dunes!!

Good deal. That stuff looks sick. I'd be powdercoating everything i could fit in my oven if i had a setup for it haha.
