Default Odd seat question

Is there a kit or a safe way to raise the 40/20/40 seat a few inches? Driving with the window open today I noticed it wuld be a little more comfortable if the seat were higher.

Yes I have tilt wheel steering so that is not a problem. There is plenty of room between the top of my head and the roof. No I am not going to spend a lot money on replacing it with an electric seat from the junk yard or where ever. (Money is better spent on dive gear and dive trips versus spending it on a truck.)

Of course we cant compromise safety when doing this.

Thanks

i guess you could probably take the front seat off and see if you can make up some brackets to raise the seat a bit. not sure if youll be able to get the bolts off though.

this is a new one on me

DARN! you beat me to the punch time!

Careful on the phone book idea...you would need to alter your pedals with wood blocks then!

Actually I'm 6 feet tall. I don't beat the truck up so banging the head isn't a concern.

get longer bolts and pieces of thick solid steel. People will argue with me that it isn't safe, but I think it would be. something you might not have thought about would the shoulder strap on the seat belt be comfortable if you raised the seat.
