Ok I didn't notice those tubes the first time when I glanced at your picture. So was my cooler I had mounted infront of the radiator aftermarket? I always assumed it was stock but I heard one other guy say his cooler was mounted inbetween like those. The one I had was mounted on the front in the same location my B&M is now.

Mine's mounted in the very front as well, hometheaterman. Ours are both 2001s, maybe a difference between model years?

Correction, I believe I found mine where its supposed to be. My apologies...

Hometheaterman, yours must have been aftermarket I'd say.

you HAVE and Aux tranny cooler.

Those 2 parallel hard lines running behind the AC condenser at a 30* angle go to it. If you peek between the rad and condenser you'll see it. It's about a quarter the size of the rad and sits bottom lower quadrant on the driver's side.
+1

You have a transmission cooler. It is between the condenser and the radiator.

On my last oil change I found trans fluid all over the front by the radiator and found out the there was a leak coming from the trans cooler. I seeled it up with some epoxy for now and am looking for a good aftermarket one. This is just way too small.

Yeah I know another guy with a 01 Offroad and his was mounted inbetween them. I just always thought mine was stock as it looke basic and stock but I guess it wasn't. Anyway It tall got replaced anyways so it doesn't really matter too much I don't guess.

Do you have a transmission temp gauge? If not, how do you know it's too small?

I've got a transmission temperature gauge and the stock cooler. During normal driving, the transmission temperature never gets above 150*F. Even while towing a 5,000-pound trailer around Pennsylvania's mountains, the temperature never got above 180*F.

The stock transmission cooler is sufficient for most people's needs. But if yours is leaking, you should definitely replace it.
