Default Stock tranny cooler

Am I smoking crack, or does teh AC compressor connect to the tranny cooler? I was looking at it trying to figure if I should install an aftermarket one.. I see a hose going from the compressor strait hooked up to the Tranny cooler.. Am I just being a newb and dont get it? Aftermarket is just tranny fluid going through it? I felt the cooler after driving around, feels cool to the touch, but the hoses from the tranny seems warm, so Im guessin there's flow in there and that the AC compressor cools the darn thing?

You are smoking crack, lol. That isnt the tranny cooler, that would be the coils for the A/C system.

That looks like it's for the A/C to me. My transmission cooler was infront of that. Now my B&M is in the same spot.

you HAVE and Aux tranny cooler.

Those 2 parallel hard lines running behind the AC condenser at a 30* angle go to it. If you peek between the rad and condenser you'll see it. It's about a quarter the size of the rad and sits bottom lower quadrant on the driver's side.

Do you have a central air unit? If so, peek in there, the entire case has coils around it. Once the system is condensed, it gets very hot and needs to be cooled.
