I wish I had a camera. I don't know man, maybe it just because I've been used to seeing 35" tires since I've known the truck, but the tire looks very stupid. And it's softness looks even worse, just doesn't fit the truck. But the purpose of me getting new tires was to make sure it rode smooth and was relatively quiet. So I'm nervous to go with a mud terrain tire ya know? I can't defeat the whole movement. I mean, are BFGs quite? I don't really offroad at all. I just need a tire that rides relatively smooth and quiet, and does well in the winter. I like how the truck is a solid unit now, no more wobbling or anything. I'm fine with the offroad height, I'll get over it. I defiantly want a wider tire though. This truck is just too curvy for a thin tire, it needs some oomph to square it up. I think a 33/12.5/17 or a 305/65/17 will help the truck out, and make it look proportionally speaking, similiar to what it was with the lift and 35s. There is no way I'm keeping these tires. I called them back, they said they have a 30 day trial run I guess. So they should be good to go, I'll find out tomorrow morning. So what to do. I got to get the tires on this truck, especially before my dad finds out I'm not sticking with the 285, he will be pissed. He wouldn't notice if I do it quick, but he'll be pissed if he knows I didn't stick with the tire from the store, he didn't want me special ordering anything. I also want to replace these wheels, they look ugly to me suddenly, it's strange. I got to pick a tire and track it down by tomorrow morning though. I want to have the order in place by tomorrow morning when I go there, and just keep this freakshow rolling. What tire to pick remains to be unseen, but I got to think fast.

The BFGs aren't super loud but do have a growl to them that isn't quiet either probably similar to what you have now. They ride okay for what they are but aren't anything like a street tire as they ride a tad rough but not like a Super Swamper either. Sounds like drom what you want you should get a nice AT. What do you think of the Toyo's I really like Toyo but I know it's not the most agressive tire.

Are you getting wheels tomorrow too? Those can make the tires stick out depending on what backspacing you get.

I actually do like that tire a lot, it's perfect. But, I can't seem to find the size I need? Can you help me with that?

Closest thing I see is a 285/70R17 which it says is a 33x11.50 so about what you have now. If you get 16" whhels they have a 305/70R16 for them which is the size I run.

On second thought a set of these would look sweet just not do anything you want and you'd be really lucky to get 10k miles a set. http://www.intercotire.com/site28.php

Hmm, damn. I like that, but I can't really see myself spending anymore money right now. That really blows. My head is just on fire right now, I've been in stressed out mode with this truck ever since I have had it. Just trying to do things right, and it's just one road block after another. Damn, just not sure what to do now. I can't let my pops know about the tire ordeal. And it'd take me a couple weeks to afford wheels ya know?
