Default new used tool box for my truck

i bought this off a friend $50. its not perfect some scarpes and scartchs here and there but everything works.
I was kinda leaning more to a soft tonneau covers but you just cant beat $50. does anyone know if i could still add a smaller one and keep the tool box?

Get the tonneau, gas mileage! And then put in a flush mount toolbox towards the rear of the bed if you'd still want it. Where abouts are you? I'm trying to sell my flush mount!

you might be able to make your own custom tonneau cover but i suggest selling the box and buying a cover.

How many MPG's have you folks seen that have put in a cover? Everybody seems to claim some magical increase, but from the investigating that I have done (from manufacturer sites) it doesn't look like it makes that big of difference. Sure... it saves a bit, but for 600 bucks for a hard cover, and saving only 0.2 miles per gallon, it would take me like 6 years of driving to recoup the cost of the cover.

Nice tool box BTW - I have one and I LOVE it. Not a bad deal for 50 bucks.

they make soft covers for truck with tool boxes, so long as it's a standardized size. Never seen a hard cover one though.

Here's one:
