I am selling my truck. I just cant afford to have it sitting in the driveway only to be used on occasion anymore. I am going to miss a lot of shows with it this year which saddens me but its sale will also aleviate some financial constraints I have at the moment and help clean out my garage. I'm really sorry to hear that Indy, I know what it feels like to have to make that kind of choice. However, that doesnt mean it's the end of Indy or even the end of owning a Dodge...you may be able to find something else to mod/tinker with that tickles your fancy.

You could always drop a V8 into a Daytona

 

Yea, I cant say I am totaly done with tinkering, maybe on a little hyatius. I keep slapping myself and telling myself to pull the motor and sell it as a roller so I can put it into something funkey one day. Its just money I can do it again.

Trev, Theres not too much wrong with it. The only reason Im not asking an ungodly ammount of money is because there was an engine fire back in feburary which I have since fixed. All thats left of the fire damage is the grille, and that the hood is flat black primer rather than matching.After that that I was daily driving the truck for about 2,000 miles, but now it sits in the driveway. The truck is fully recovered from the fire and is back to where it was before, minusthe previously statedcosmetics obviously. The motor is basicly totaly new, the only parts you would ever have to worry about are the crank and cam bearings as well as the rings on the pistons, EVERYTHING else is new that wears. The trans hasnt givin me any issues, though it does and always has not shifted into third wot, you have to back off to about 3/4 throttle.

The truck is what it is, you can take it and put it back into daily driver service, finish the painting and win shows with it, or just take it to the strip and go. (I do have another show Im going to be missing this weekend that I was a shoein for a trophy[:@] )

Not me, I still use my truck to haul loads and pull the camper. It's still in too nice of shape to sell it, though I would love a 2500 CTD. The rest of my driving is done in my gas miser now, so the truck should stay nice for some time.

Indy, what kind of stuff do you have that you might part with. I'm not talking about tearing stuff off the truck (unless you are interested in that), but what do you have laying around in the garage that you mentioned?

 

Aside from half an extra truck, theres 4 tailgunner wheels 2 slicks a tonneau (fiberglass) step boards, more than I can remember. I will not part with anything untill the truck is sold. Whoever buys the truck has the option to take everything if they choose not to I will list everything individuially.

 

Cant say im in a hurry to get rid of mine , still use it for hauling and on rainy days , plus getting a new bike dont want another payment ....
