If you have the inner part of that piece, use a zip tie to hold it in place for now.

Ok, got that new cable in.....it shifts kinda hard and likes the lower gears but im guessing thats because the cable is new and just needs to be used and broke in and then it will go back to normal.........Still taking quite abit longer to start.....Can anyone point me in the direction of the Fuel Pressure Sensor or whatever it might be? thanx

The new TV cable needs to be adjusted correctly.Or you will do damage to the trans.

And as far as the hard starting goes it is usually the fuel pressure regulator . But can also be leaking injectors. You need to do a fuel pressure leak down test by isolating the the regulator from the injectors .

The correct way to adjust the cable is so that the TV cable and the throttle cable both move at exactly the same time. Grab a hold of the throttle mechanism and work it very slowly back and forth and watch both cable ends, when the TV cable and throttle cable both move at exactly the same time. you've got it. There is only a 1 mm +/- tolerance for this.
