They obviously aren't testing their work before they give it back to you. Take it to them again, have them test drive it. And ask again for a build sheet, and say that you'll wait for it.

Have you tried the TV cable adjustment? I just did mine and it made a huge difference.
Read some of this **** sometimes...
Last time I checked, I was told the tv cable couldn't adjust overdrive.

I'm leaving it with them Tuesday morning, and I'm not taking it back this time until it's perfect and without a build sheet.

Alrighty then. Good luck. Don't be a ***** about it, but don't be a jerk either. Firm, polite, and persistent is the ticket. And after its good, never do any business with those mechanics again.

HEY CEREALKILLER ! It was just a suggestion for him to try. And I did read the WHOLE thread. And besides telling him to go to a good trans shop, why don't you tell him what is exactly wrong with his truck! BTW , nice truck you have.

It's just very odd. Once the truck hits around 35mph, the pedal becomes very touchy. I can't even drive the damn thing without my foot not hitting the pedal everytime I hit a bump. It makes me not even want to drive the truck at all, ruins the ride completely.

Well I have to admit that your explanation of whats wrong is very confusing! You make it sound like you are driving without your foot on the pedal.

Yeah I don't think that the TV cable adjustment will fix your issue. No offense to the guy that posted to try that as it is a good idea however it doesn't control the 3rd to overdrive shift and when I've had it need adjusting it's been that it wants to shift early and not kick down a gear. I guess at this point the best thing to do is just keep going back and bugging them about it until they do something.

Notice at even the slightest of acceleration, it skips into overdrive. Tell me that isn't normal?
