Tempermental starting

RE: Tempermental starting
Ok I tried the stuff that Pc told me check. Everything seems to be in working order. With this being an intermitten problem and concidering what Aim posted about the internals possibly being broken, isitlikley that something is moving around in the battery causing it to start when it wants?
This is my slow season at work so I really dont want to spend $ that I dont have. I'm going to go get the new battery, is the Optima battery worth the extra $? I'mnot cheap and as long as the battery is going on the Credit card I'll spend the extra $ if it is really worth it. Red top yellow top? any other suggestions? thanks again for all the help.

I think you need to re-check what I posted. So your saying the starter is good, relay swap was good, ignition switch is good? But still "one click" when you turn the key? There pretty much it. I guess the battery is just about the last thing left..... pull one out of a car(borrow it)and give that one a shot. No sense in dropping money on it if it aint the problem

RE: Tempermental starting
I have checked everything twice.I plan on retesting everything when the problem
arises again. It has only happened the 2 times mentioned in the original post.
I have been able to start the truck with no problems. I started the truck 8-10 times
to try and duplicate the problem but no luck. As crazy as it sounds I actually want it
to not start so I can run throught the list and figure out if it is one of the things you
mentioned. My friend has my good multimeter that can test amperage I need to get that back
this week. Thank you for all the help.
