Not a lead foot at all ! And actually I got like 13 to 14 before the mods. And the truck is 99.9 percent of the time empty.

I believe exhaust modifications assist a vehicle in gas mileage once it plains out, but other than that, a big engine is a big engine. Right now I am getting 14 city and 19 highway with 285s. Once the truck plains out, you can just feel the gas pedal becoming very light. The headers and free flowing exhaust really allow the engine to breathe.

And according to my computer, I'm getting 14-16 highway and 12-13 in the city. But its wrong, and so is yours Neon.

Do the math buddy. I got 11 mpg when I filled up last, 95% in town. Last time on the highway, 13, from a drive from my city here (Sioux Falls, SD) to Rochester, MN, and back. Filled up when I got there, just over 13 with a big head wind. Used crappy 87 octane (10% ethanol) when I was there, and on the way back got just under 13 with just a slight head wind.

The computers also should be adjusted for the mods, and I'm not necessarily talking just a reset. You need a tuner of some sort, probably SCT is the way I'd go, to let the computer take advantage of the mods. Especially if you are a victim of the "death flash."
