First start ups are always hard now. And the fuel pump makes a strange sound when it engages too. Sometimes gauge will read half tank, then drop down to empty all of a sudden?

I knew this truck always had a strange amount of torque when I first bought it. Now with 285s, she really goes great. I loving repping the ram around town[8D]

THE FUEL PUMP DOES NOT SEND THE SIGNAL TO THE DASH FUEL GAUGE!!!

It is possible you have 2 problems, but the fuel pump alone is not your culprit.

Absolutely right squirrels. My 1995 Dakota had that go bad I believe. The gauge would bounce around everywhere, never give a clear reading. Sometimes it would stay at E, sometimes at full, and sometimes it'd just bounce. They dropped the tank, replaced it, fuel gauge was back to working fine.

I have a question. I raced my friends '06 F-150, 300 h/p. We raced from 0-75mph and I beat him by a truck length the entire way. Does this mean I have over 300 h/p or what??
