I mean uptight as in they don't ever have some fun. About 90% of the time, I use this truck for work. The other 10% I reserve for having fun now and then. I wouldn't have waisted my money on exhaust, intakes, and headers if I wasn't going to use them. Basically instead of being all paranoid about it, I think it's a fun story that I owned the floor on a 2006 F-150 rated with 300 horsepower. It's not like I'm doing this all the time, most of the time it's slow city driving or towing. That's all I'm saying.
They aren't getting on you for doing it, what they are getting "uptight" about is you saying you'll never do it again, and then doing it again.
Definitely don't do it often. Just keep in mind that you got shafted on the tranny and have no idea what they really did.

Well when I use to say that, that was when I had 35" tires, that was just pushing the issue. Now with the truck sitting at stock, pushing it now and then is fine with me. In regards to the transmission, I'll just never know. Some things are nice about it, and others aren't so nice. It still needs some tweaking. It's not shifting out of 2nd gear at full throttle. And it's stuttering at around 90mph. I know that's extreme, but every now and then when I want to punch it, I don't need limitaitons. And then the most irritating of them all is the sensitive pedal deal. Once the truck passes 35mph, the pedal just goes in sensitive mode from any speed on. I'm constantly driving around just trying to let off before I hit bumps. I'm having a seperate transmission shop check it though. I want to make sure it's notable before I bring it back to the shop...AGAIN.
I understand that the 35" tires are harder on it but doing that stuff is still very hard on it. Doesn't matter if you have stock tires or 35"s it's extremely hard on it. Lots of guys with stock tires which arent yours still bigger than stock? Anyway lots of guys with stock setups break stuff doing that kind of stuff. It just puts soo much stress on everything. While 35"s might be slightly worse it still puts a large amount of stress on the truck with stock tires. It isn't just the transmission thats taking a beat. There are several other parts that are taking a beating. This isn't saying I haven't done it and I bet most of the other guys can't say they haven't done it but a lot of us have seen how easily it tears up stuff. It gets expensive quickly and we are just trying to prewarn you.

At least he hasn't figured out if he does a brake stand in 4-wheel drive he can spin all 4 tires at the same time.

ya just have to try really hard. he should invest in a set of sub-frame connectors too

Lol man some of you guys just live some very uptight livelivhoods. It's just a simple 0-60 video and you guys bust nuts over something so minescule. I know my truck can handle it, she's running great because I take extremely good care of it. Hitting the throttle hard every now and then and enjoying some of the modifications I've done to it is not going to hurt it. The video was designed to just be a little fun, not something to freak out about. I thought you guys would enjoy hearing I beat my friends 2006 F-150. I think some of you guys underestimate how well I take care of this truck. You just pick out a couple things I do and expound on them heavily, it's strange. About 10% of the time I throttle this truck up, other than that, it's slow driving doing home depot runs or towing machinery...nothing wrong with opening up your beast..way to take the fun out of it though...
