Amsoil Universal ATF will improve the shifting. It will also run a bit cooler. I use Amsoil in all my running gear.

I changedallfluids to Amsoil, too, except the tranny. Once the differential oils were changed, I noticed the rear chatter I occasionally used to get was gone, and that was without adding any additive, even though it isan anti-spin rear end.In extreme cold weather, the truck rolls much easier, too. Amsoil also sells an additive, but I was told to first try without it, and onlyadd itif necessary (noise).

I run amsoil in everything, but when my tranny went out a couple of weeks ago, the tranny shop manager, said that they had not had very good luck when using amsoil in transmissions, he said to use regular ATF +4 oil. I still believe in amsoil, but it is weird that 5,000 miles after changing my tranny fluid, that my tranny went out. (I adjusted the bands too)
