Magnaflow Cat

4wheelparts says the 94047 is a dual 2" inlet and single 3" outlet but Magnaflow's site tells me the same thing you do that I need the 94037. Have you personally installed these? Which do I need? Summit says both are single in dual out but 4wheel parts says the 94047 is dual in single out. I'm so confused as to what I need here.

The 94037 is the correct one.I've installed many of these on my customers trucks and one on my own.
And Summit will be the cheapest for you.

Ok the 94047 has dual inlet 2" and 3' single out. The 94037 is also 2' dual in but it is 2.5" out. So it really depends on what the size of the cat back system you have is going into the muffler. Either way you can just use an adapter. And I still say the Summitt description is a misprint.
I went out and measured and the pipe if you cut it at the y would be 2.25" or so according to my caliper. It was bigger than 2" so the dual 2" holes would be too small wouldn't they? If I can find someone that has it instock I will take your word and order it. The pipe that goes from the cat to the muffler is 2.5" though so that part should be right. I wish I could find a local shop that had one of these and would install it too. No one has it in stock that I can find and I Don't want to wait a month for it.

The pipes coming from the manifold are 2 inch. The 94037 will fit perfectly.
If you have a Meineke near you,you can bring the cat to them and they can install it for you at an affordable price. It will be much easier for them to install it,especially with welding the pipes.
Ok I finally found a place that had one in the same state as me and was pretty cheap. A lot cheaper than Summit and I found them through Magnaflows dealer. I've got a local exhaust shop I usually get to do my work and will more than likely go with him as long as I can get him to do it. I couldn't get ahold of him today. He has been good to me in the past and done awesome work so I will probably stick with him. If not I may give Meineke a call as we have one right up the road. I have a welder but just don't think I can weld it well enough to keep it from leaking so I'd rather them do it.
I just now have to deal with returning my old one to Summit and figuring out whats up with this 02 sensor. All of dealers I've called have given me a different part # as to which one I need and all the online sites list the 01 as having 2 front sensors. The first dealer I talked to said that they changed the 01's in 7 of 2000 and mine only has one since it was a super early 01 that was made in 5 of 2000. I'm thinking I may just try the 2000 one from Advance to see if it's the same and then put the o2 simm in the rear whenever it comes in.

No, no, no. The one I posted was the one you'd need for most 1994-2000 trucks. In 2001 they made some changes. You will need the 3" converter!
My exhaust setup, judging from your picture hometheaterman, was exactly the same as yours. You ordered the right part! My Meineke guy, who I always go to for this stuff, told me the exact same thing... that the part I needed was the 2 in, one out. But when they got it up and took a look, they discovered it was different than what the Meineke books state. As far as I know, its just some of the 2001s that are different.
If you want, I can show you the receipt where it says 3" converter and 3" Flowmaster Super 44. Just gotta find it in my filing cabinet. (Which isn't filed to well at the moment.)
