My 2 blue toys
For some reason it won't let me reply to my threads on here so I am starting a new thread. Got the bike out today and took some pictures of it and the truck together. The bike is a 2004 Yamaha R1 and the truck is well as you guys probably know a 2001 Dodge Ram.
Anyway on to the pictures.

What do you guys think?

Truck looks great homey (that's what I'm calling you from now on. hometheaterman is just too much to type out everytime
)
I have a couple of questions too...
Fist off are those American Eagle rims? I was really thinking about getting a set of those if I don't get the Mickeys. What size are they? how wide are they? What's the back spacing? I really like how they make the tires stick out on the side of your truck. Makes it look agressive.
My other question. and it's more of a request, if you have time and you feel like it. Would you mind measuring the distance from the ground to your bumpers, and the distance from the ground to your fenders? Because up until recently I believed my truck to be stock height. But I pulled up beside another ram just like mine a little ways back (short bed, regular cab, 1500, 4x4) and either his truck was lowered or mine is lifted. and I would be ****ing pissed if I went out and bought a 3" lift for my truck and found out it was already lifted 2 or 3 inches.
Here's a photo of mine for comparison(and because I like to post picture of my truck too)

They are Eagle Alloy 16x10 wheels. I'm not exactly sure on the backspacing. They do stick out which to me looks awesome but then at the same time they throw every rock and piece of dirt on your truck. Expect to have behind each wheel covered in rock chips and or rubber if you ever do a burnout with them. I will go out and measure the bumpers for you and let you know. Do you have aftermarket coils or spacers?
I'm not sure. I bought the truck like it is and always just assumed it was stock. I know the shocks aren't factory because they're ****in yellow, but I'm not sure about the springs or anything. Thanks for the measurments man, this is driving me nuts. I was thinking about driving around and trying to find one in a parking lot or something, but people would really think i was a weirdo if they came back to their truck and I was measuring it
btw...
What's up with the apostrophes on this site? Are they like trying to take over or something?

This is with a 3" lift and 305/70R16 tires so basically 33" tires.
Ok I went out to measure. I'm not good at getting precise measurements but to the bottom of the front bumper looks to be between 21 and 21 and a half inches. This is to the bottom of the bumper not that plastic air damn thing under it. It's to the top of that where it clips onto the bumper. I just put the tape measure inbetween that and the bumper. To the middle of the back bumper is around 26 and a half inches. That was to the middle. One side on mine is slightly bent. Hard to tell but you can see it. I assume the middle is straight as it looks straight. One side thoug is just a hair higher than the other. Really hard to notice and I didn't notice until the exhaust guy figured it out. He said it kept throwing him off so he finally measured and that it was slightly higher on one side. Not sure how I bent it or how it got bent as it's just a slight bend up you can't really tell so it barely is higher. Or maybe it's how it's made idk.
Anyway to the fender. I just stuck the tape on the ground and measured to the bottom of the fender like in the wheel wheel. So just directly over the tire I put the tape measure up against the fender. It was hard to measure as the tire sticks out so I couldn't get it to come straight down but it seemed to be about 41". Now remember these are just rough figures that I tried to quickly do. They aren't super precise.

If you need any more measurements let me know.
As for the bike yes you are right. It seems to like to bring the front wheel up at high speeds fairly often. Thats when you are trying to keep it from doing that.
