You sure it's not something messed up from where you got hit in the parking lot?

No, I'm not sure, but I wouldn't think it likely. That was the front, passenger side panel, right behind the headlamp assembly, and I don't think it was hard enough to do that serious of damage. Yes, it is a nice dent, but its not very deep.

The lean seems to be coming from the driver's side rear, not sure how a passenger side front hit would be related (unless, of course, it was a lot bigger than mine).

I'm still thinking that it is the leaf spring, I don't know of any way to test them without taking them apart

It is the leaf spring. Gas tank and driver ! Metal fatigue. Same prob with mine. I made a spacer and added it to the top of the block and now it sits level.

And actually I left out something, I got a left rear spring from a 99 and it was still not level but closer. That is when I decided to make the spacer.

Alright.

What I plan on doing Monday. I've found a leaf spring from a 2001 Dodge Ram that had 81000 miles on it and then was in a decent front end collision. Both leaf springs are still there, so I'm going to see if I can't get the passenger side one. $65.

I'm planning on taking my current passenger side leaf spring (my truck has 65000 miles on it) and moving it over to driver's side, and then putting the "new" spring on my passenger side. That sound like the right move to you guys?

Thanks again for all your help!

yep, sounds good.

You could also buy the driver side one, so that when the other one wears out, you would have two that are sagging a little bit. lol

Good Luck
