How many of you have a factory moon roof?
Just curious how common/uncommon a factory moon roof is. Friend had one go through his dealership recently, and I was seriously considering swapping my 60k truck for his 74k truck with the moon roof. Now I'm kicking around having one put in. Curiuos if you've had good/bad luck with the factory, and if anyone has had one aftermarket installed.
They don't seem to hard with the correct equipment. Definitely something not to do with your backyard scissors by any means.
Integrating switches also isn't that hard, and looks fantastic.

I believe the correct term is sunroof for something that simply pops up, or out, moonroof slides back. Truck I saw definately had a moon roof, which now has me wanting one. Sunroofs, by comparison, are not all that difficult to put in, moonroofs seem like a bit more is needed then my hack skills can provide.
Truck I saw has what I belive to be a factory moon roof...although it could have been aftermarket, just a great job. While I understand it's not hard to install switches or other items like that, this truck had an overhead console that was a bit different then what I've seen before, but still obviously factory.

yeah aftermarket sunroofs im goin to call them
have come along way. we send some of our cars out (kia) to get them installed if people come to us with their used car. when they come back they look insanely factory, they have their own overhead consouls they install with the switches and buttons on them. looks mint. one of our customers complained that his domelight was gone , which we told him when he got it put in, but he had an suv so there was a domelight right after the sunroof. some people are just to picky.
case and point id deff want my truck to have a big *** sunroof

I'm now convinced it was a very good aftermarket job. Did some research this morning and can find no factory literature on any sun/moonroof options for this gen ram. probably will look into getting one installed.
