Default No Headlights

I have a 1996 Ram 1500.

The other day when I got in the truck I went to turn the headlights on and there weren't any. Pulled the switch and nothing happened. With the switch pulled I did take and turn the high beams on and they worked. Now today the high beams don't even work. Anyone out there run into this issue? I have been toldthat it could be the headlight switch but I wanna make sure before I go out and try to track one down.

Thanks for your help!

Using a test lite, disconnect one of the headlamp connectors and ck for power and ground. You can also use a DVOM to ck power and ground too. Or buy a headlamp bulb and hope it works. If you don't have power to the connectors, you may have an open wire, fuse blowen or a bad headlamp switch.
