Found my clicking source.
Passenger side u-joint. I just reached in there and grabbed the axle and twisted it, and there was a fair amount of play in th u-joint.
So... time to do a forum search on the best way to replace it. hoping i can do it without pulling the bearing out.

Hi all, new to the forum, MOPAR for LIFE! Have a clicking sound from front left side, not sure exactly where. Clicking stays in time with speed, going slow...slow click, etc. Doesnt happen while turning, just straight line. Any thoughts?

when you do replace it get some precision u-joints that are greaseable 'cause they'll last longer

right, but can i replace it without removing the axle shaft, bearing, or CAD?
Is there a write up on replacing the passenger side one? I did a forum search here, but found nothing

You will need to remove the axle.
