want a car starter? lol! and i all ready has a posi i know for a few good burn out! dont mean to jacke it here but i was offered wheels and tires $500 for the wheels and tires.. there is more then 75% tread left the tires are sport king steel radicals. the wheels are mickey thompson classic 2's there in ok shape what do u think tire size is 285/75/16X8

the tire size for a 285/75/16 ( doesnt matter about rim width) is a 32.8ish tall and about 10.5 or so width. shoudl fit right on your truck. those tires might have 75% on them, but you dont now how old they are. they coudl be old and dry rotted. maybe maybe not. but the rims seem to be goo, and the tires fit on the rims. should just fit. as long as the bolt patterns are the same
and a locker does what your posi does, just better, locker makes it so both the wheels turn at the same time no matter what. your posi give a little so you are able o go down the stret. i ant the detroit locker yes becasue i can dis engage it an go home. go bakc out the next day. lock in my rear, put her in 4 hi and play all day long and pretty mch jut not get stuck. if i needed to, 4lo but with an lsd up front and locer int the rear. not mch will stop ya.
