am i crazy? just a little. i just thought of dropping a cummins in my ram. by next year i'll prolly be the only one in town with a 1/2ton deisel. justa thought for now. question is will it bolt up? and howmuch will need to be done? would i be spending more to do this conversion then it would be just to buy a CTD pickup? look at this

GM built lots of 'em, both 6.2 & 6.5. Blazers and 'Burbans too.

To answer your question, no, it really isn't feasible. It'll be expensive, and suspension will be really mad.

You could do a408 stroker, though. That'd be cool.

1/2 ton wont support the diesel and the power it makes properly. to do the conversion youll have to buy a wrecked truck and swap nearly all the parts to make it work, and be strong.

Just buy one, or stroke it.

you like that youtube video, check out this one...

Edit: oh and you are crazy... your suspension and transmission would have to be replaced. with the lowering cost of big trucks, especially diesels... it would almost be cheaper to buy a 1500 with a diesel from another famous maker.
