Default squeek problem....

Ive got a rolling squeek, it seems that there is a squeek with each rotation of the wheel. It comes and goes, and stops completely as soon as i apply the breaks. Im assuming its my breaks squeeking, but which part and what can i do about it to fix it. Seems to be coming from right front, just had both drums replaced, 3 ball joints, and u joints replaced. Help please.

How new are the brakes? Most pads will squeak when they are getting to the point they need to be replaced.

Also, are they metallic units?

Some metallic brake pads will squeak no matter what, nothing you can do about it. The only brakes I've seen never squeak (and stop the best), until they need replacing anyway, are ceramic pads.

General rule of thumb...
squeek - brake pads
metal on metal grinding - pads are gone and so are your rotors.
tick - bad u-joint
groan - bearings
thump thump - you just hit a possum

i checked my pads today, and theyre fine, long way to go before they need replacing so im lost. Ive had this to several shops and they cant find the problem, im tired of giving it to shops and not have it fixed.

check the CAD, not sure what the lube requirements are if any.
Bearings? when were they last changed?
Brake dust cover not hitting anything?
can you hear it when you put the wheel up and turn it by hand?

How did the calipers look? I think I read somewhere that sometimes they need adjusting?

Sometimes metallic pads will squeak because they are ever so slightly dragging, even though its not enough to do any harm. My 1995 Dakota front pads were replaced once, and those metallic pads (mostly driver side) did it from day 1 to the day I traded it in. Had them checked three times, nothing wrong, just a very slight drag that made them noisy.

Not sure ill check them out, stupid question here though. If you put your tire on wrong, you'll notice it right. IDk im just kinda paranoid that i put my tire on and its not seated right. Everything feels fine, im just concerned.

Maybe one of the ujoints or both are going bad on the front drive shaft ? And as far as your wheels go, drive it for 10 or 15 miles then recheck the lug torque, you should retighten them after a few miles anyway after you have them off.
