I just raceda daytona edition ram, yes it had a hemi but it wasent fast enough. from a dig even. i think im a little over superised. i've been wanting to go against one of the dodge truck hemisjust to see whatthey got. lil 318 sure showedem.ramsey 1 hemi 0. DODGE POWER!

The new Hemi's are way over rated My old 95 s-10 with a modded 4.3 could easly spank one.

Are you sure he was Racing? The 318 doesnt have the power to outrun a 340.

When they first came out I was like allright the Hemi is back but after racing aginst one i was very disapointed.

 

I think the new one have potental and are severly detuned from the factory. I just don't see them being as Big and Bad as the real Hemi's Thats just my opion.

 

Supposedly, they are tuned to get their HP in the upper RPMs, and not down low.

Hence, not really that good for pulling or racing without a new tune.

 

Hemi = GM 350 with todays upgrades.
5.2/5.9= origonal power.
4.3= the mini 350.
5.7= dodge thinks its a hemi so they stick it in everything.
351W= Ford saying WHY?!?! 351 times.

 

I've got a 360 in my '98 and my friends got an '05 with the hemi in it...smokes me every time.
