I had a Hypertech at one time, then switched to the Mopar PCM. It was definetly better.

They used to be advertised as 26 hp, 27 ft/lb gain. I don't think it was quite that good, but it was better then the hypertech.

You can't buy one new though. They were discontinued a long time ago. Lots of websites still list them, but when you go to order it, it comes back as not available.

Best bet is eBay or the forums. I bought one on eBay for $57, and one from the forums for just over $100. Just make sure it is from the same year/eng/trans as your truck.

B&G flash or an SCT tune are even better though, so might consider those instead.

26hp/27trq was for the 5.2 only
He has a 5.9, when they were advertised, it gave a gain of 20hp/26trq. KRC still has them listed for 399, but says call for availability. If you cant find one on ebay, getthe SCT, its a bitmore at 699
