Default Front Right Wheel Bearing 4x4

Ive read the DIY post on the front right wheel bearing, sounds easy. But is that for 2 wheel drive only or is 4 wheel pretty much the exact same?
And also to check if you have front wheel abs hub youll basicly just see the cord for it right?

its a 2000
but thanks, bought one of those repair manuals and it only listed for the 2 wheel drive front hub but the DIY is pretty much exact same as they listed for the 2 wheel.

i just did mine, bought the cheap one for 120 bucks, and all i needed was a 1 11/16 socket for the axle nut. all you need to do is pull off the caliper, disc, and the 3 12pt bolts holding the hub on. once you get that off, wack the hub off and put it on in the reverse order and tighten down the hub bolts as much as you can then tighten the axle nut to 185ft/lbs and your done.

ended up being 150 bucks after the hub and socket, but thats a lot cheaper than 350 they were quoting me at the local garage. plus i did it on my lunch break at work so its a 30-45 min job.

good luck

30-45 mins on your lunch break? holy cow you are good. I guess taking a bad one out is easier since you don't have to worry about damaging it. great job

I would say that 30-45 mins is about right but I had issues with getting the hub off of the axle shaft, the the u-joint was bad and that was a pain as well but lets just say it is back together and working great. But I know one thing, if they need replaced again it won't be this kid doing it!!!!!
