OK got trans back in truck, used Amsoil syn fluid to help keep overdrive happy. Only thing is i have a slight slippage from 2nd to 3rd gear, at least i think it is slippage. Is there any adjustment to fix this problem. Any input welcome.

Did you put ATF+4 in? Regular ATF is not supposed to go into Dodge/Chrysler transmissions, regardless of brand. With our trannies, only ATF+4 is recommended. Using non-ATF+4 stuff has been known to cause problems.

ATF+ was one of the ones before they came out with ATF+3 or ATF+4. They don't make ATF+ or ATF+3 any more, because ATF+4 is superior, but the ATF+ was OK for Chrysler trannies. ATF+ is still different than regular ATF.

My apologies for missing that word. I have never seen a new bottle of true ATF+ or ATF+3. I remember seeing a bottle of ATF+ once (non-mopar brand), but upon further research, discovered it was ATF+4 and the company that made it simply labeled it ATF+.

ATF+4, in whatever brand or label, is still superior and can be used in place of the others.
