Tune up?
If it was me I'd stick with the stock plugs or get either Champion Platinums or truck plugs. I didn't notice a difference between stock and Platinums honestly other than price and haven't tried the truck ones as I couldn't find them so just got the platinums.
For a cap and rotor I'd just get a cap with brass terminals. The Napa ones seems to be a good choice. I've also heard of some liking the OEM and saying it lasts the best but I'm not sure if it's got brass terminals or not. I've never had problems with the Napa one lasting. I think the guy that liked the OEM had some MSD setup that burnt through them.
I've gotten my last two caps and rotors at Napa and had luck with them. I also have gotten the ones for the Honda there and have liked those too.
For wires I like the MSD's but honestly if I didn't go with those I would more than likely go with the OEM ones. A lot of times OEM stuff like that can't be beat. Usually cost more but in the long run are a lot of times worth it.

So far I am getting the stock champion plug unless someone says something good about the champion truck plug's no autolite's. I am guessing any cap & rotor as long as it is brass and name brand. Hometheaterman How much did you pay for your msd wire's? I have alot of car auto part stores around my way so it shouldn't be hard to get thing's

Looks like they are $80.90 from Summit plus whatever the handling fee is. I can't remember if Summits is $10 or what. I got the first set from Summit and long time ago and they ended up selling me the wrong set it was for LA style 360's not magnums but I made all of it work other than the coil wire. When I called MSD they told me to measure so I did and they made me a coil wire and sent it to me. When I did it this time I got the right set which I think were those. They fit a lot better. The first set I was cutting a zip tie I think with a knife and accidentally let it slip and cut the shielding on one of the wires. Instead of risking a misfire I ordered a whole set from Jegs this time and just used the one wire I cut. Well, maybe 2 as I think I cut two wires. So I have a whole new set minus two wires lol. I figure it will work as a spare if I ever need a extra plug wire.

Thanks for getting me a price on those wire's. But would they really be worth the $80 i don't really race it or anything. I did just find a new set on ebay bidding is at $7.00 has 1 day left i may just try to get them. If not what other brand of wire's would you guy's suggest? Sorry for all the questions lol
i like my autolite 3923's. no problems here, with them.msd 8.5wires and i think it was a borg warner cap and button. it had nascar writing on it. it was the best that o'reilley's auto parts had. i just made sure it was brass.
Search the net for MSD wires, you can get them cheaper than that. the P/N is 32189 for red and 32183 for black wires. the wires will just barely fit into the stock wire looms so you might have to buy bigger looms. I will say that they dropped about 100 RPMs off of my idle and the engine ran smoother.

I didn't notice much of a difference in how my truck ran to be honest.
I don't think they are really needed. I however don't think that I'd go to the parts store and get a set I think I'd get the OEM ones from the dealer if I didn't get MSD but that's just me. I know a lot of the guys on a Honda forum I visit and another forum seem to all think stuff like plugs and wires are best from the dealer. I have to agree I don't think most aftermarket ones last anywhere near the time of oem ones. This seems to be the case with a lot of things.
