Yeah, a lite sheen (with no pooling) is OK.

Not hard. I did it in an hour (did the wires too), because I took my time to route the wires correctly. It was also my first time doing it, so I was extra careful.

Driver's side, slightly right of center, behind the intake manifold. You can't really miss it, there are eight spark plug wires and the coil wire all plugged into the top, and it isn't exactly small.

I u s e d colored zip ties (as someone else here suggested) to keep track of which wires go w h e r e. I unscrewed the two screws holding it down, removed the driver's side four wires (after color coding them with the zips), and that let me push the cap off towards the passenger side enough to get to the rotor. Pull straight up and off, it'll take a bit of force. Make sure you snap the new rotor into position pointing the exact same direction the old one was. If you put the new rotor on incorrectly positioned, she won't fire right.

Take the new cap, and one by one, remove the four passenger side wires and coil wire and put them on the matching terminals on the new cap (if you aren't replacing the wires). After that, put it back down onto the distributor, and put the screws back in. After tightening those, put the four drivers side wires back on. There ya go, new cap and rotor.

Make sure when you buy a cap and rotor that they are of the brass variety. They don't corrode as much as aluminum does.

I have not had luck with the 3923's at all, w h i l e some here swear by them. I've tried 'em numerous times and I'm d o n e with them.

I l i k e the Champion Truck Plugs, #4071 for the '95

I am currently running NGK V-power plugs, suggested by some of the guys at bionicdodge. I really l i k e them so far, much better pickup than the autolite's I just pulled, (I think quality has gone to crap recently.) Just get the stock heat range plug. Not sure of that number for the '95.

I didn't like the Autolites either. I switched back to Champions. I run a Napa dist cap and rotor and MSD wires with Champion platinum plugs. Used to run stock plugs but put these in last time. I like this setup fairly well. The cap and rotor aren't too hard to change it's just a tight space back there.

As soon as i get my intake fixed and get some more $$ the #$%^@! champions are getting throwed as far as i can throw them and then put a real set of plugs in. I have never had any luck with Autolight, Motercraft, AC delco (seen these rein a good engine), Champion, Champion truck plugs. I can trash all of these plugs in under 5 min. Sorry for the rant I just have had no luck with any of these brands and have learned my lessen with them. And before some says anything about this post remember we are all entitaled to our own opinions.

So what plugs do you like? Bought the only things I can think of left are Bosch, NGK, and Denso. I may be leaving out some.

I think Champions are best in Dodges. My buddy that used to work at the dealer said the same thing and said the Autolites don't seem to last.

I like NGK a lot but have never tried them in the Dodge. They are great in the bikes and in the Honda's though. I think what comes in the vehicle is usually what works best.

I've never tried the Bosch +4 plugs but heard nothing but bad about them. They just seem to be crap.
