it's probably a typo... or someone grabbed data from the 5.9 diesel spreadsheet by mistake.

in comparison... the TST powermax box I have on my CTD will give up to 195 HP & 600 tq (with a good fuel pump)

Don't know how accurate it is, but it's not a typo. They stand behind the claim on their forum. When I first saw it, I thought it was a little out of line too. All the other engines the 3815 tunes (Hemi, 4.7, 5.2, etc.) are all in the same ball park, but the 5.9 boasts huge gains for a gasser.
De-tuned the truck a few weeks ago and used it on my Grand Cherokee Overland with the 4.7 H.O. and felt a pretty good gain, especially when passing on the interstate, but the tranny shifts were not as firm with the performance tune as I notice on the Hemi, where I think the firmer shifts are worth the price of the Superchips alone...

For the last 3 years now all the automakers have agreed that an SAE observer will be present at either shaft or rear wheel dyno tests to make sure no trickery is being done.

It should tell you something that none of the air intake or tuner box companies have so far agreed to have an SAE observer present to verify their HP and Torque gain claims.

What are they afraid of ?
