why such much more power????
http://www.superchips.com/products.p...Grand+Cherokee
5.9 Max 46.9 HP and 59.4 ft lbs torque . and the 5.2 Max 18.7 HP and 30.2 ft lbs torque. why is the 5.9 getting so much more power than the 5.2 liter, it even get rated more power than the hemi using this programmer -5.7 Hemi Max 21.4 HP and 34.2 ft lbs torque

sounds a bit "too good to be true", but if it really produces that much of a gain... then tell me where to get them!
At what RPM does it give you more power?
Can anyone prove it to be true?
honestly I am looking to upgrade in the other area, braking.

I would imagine that there was a very temporary spike in HP and torque at a specific RPM, and since that's the highest number, that's what they publish to sell 'em. So long as they've got the dyno results to back it, they're legal.
It's kind of like saying you can run a 4 minute mile if you just multiply your 100 yard dash time by 17.6.

Either way the 5.9 is a bigger engine, bigger engines are more capable of producing more hp. Cant beat a bigger block. That being said, it still does seem odd that the 5.9 would get a better gain, i can understand more than the 5.2. But i dont see how its that much over the 5.7, seems to me that the 5.7 would have better tuning capabilities with a more modern engine and computer.(better tuning without swapping parts)

perhaps the boys at DC are already milking the hemi's potential better than they the 5.9.
the Heads, TB, intake manifold, EFI system and a lot of other stuff is standard between the 5.2 and the 5.9. a larger engine has the potential for more power, obviously, but if you're "crippling" it with 5.2 parts and a tune for those parts, you aren't seeing max potential.
The heads on a hemi are clearly different than the non hemi.

plug it in,pick your programming, and unplug it. you donnt leave it plugged in. and yes you can change your tune if donnt like something. or take it back to stock or whatever.
maybe the one they did the testing on was death flashed. sometimes sellers are slick that way, to get those big numbers.
