Default Anyone running aftermarket headlights

I'm looking at a set of black head lights though every ad I see says they will not fit sport model. Does anyone know why or if I can make it fit a sport model? I'm looking at these....

I have the clear/chrome version of those.

The reason it won't "fit" the sport model is not necessarily because of physical dimensions, which may be the case (not sure of physical dimension differences between sport and non-sport headlights), but your sport lamps have quad headlamps. You have 9007s (I believe) for your high beams, and 9004s for your lows; 2 bulbs per headlamp. Non-sport models only have 9004s, one bulb per headlamp. Thats why it wouldn't work.

I went in the other direction... non sports to sports. Had to get a wiring harness & relay to get it done right. You can make the swap but you'll have to swap the connectors or the bulbs.

Ahh, I checked and I do have the two bulbs in each headlight. So I guess that's my issue, I think I am just going to replace the housing since it looks so coated with yellow. Thanks for your help guys.

screw that, get some 2000 grit sandpaper & wet sand them, then use Mcguires plasix polish on them. they will look 100 % better

when I started the whole lower part of the headlight lens was fogged over

half way done I have the left side of the lens already sanded & polished, the right side is sanded but not polished

If you want darker headlights, just try smoking them. All you do is wet sand them, apply the tint, then reclear em. Sporttruck had an article on doin the same thing to taillights. Its the same procedure.

It is tough finding aftermarket headlights for a Sport model. Most vendors dont know if they fit or not. I have been in contact with some and all they say is "I don`t know"
