Decided to finally restart this project, had a slight incedent durin the project, sorta caught the plastic inner fender on fire with the welder, didnt know it was burning for a couple min, could have ended very poorly. so lesson of the day remove plastic attached to metal that you are about to super heat with a mig welder.... ok so got the one side welded in sorta, welder was being a huge pile of crap and not penetrating for sh*t. its attached i kicked it a few times and didnt budge. got the other side all fabbed up and welded together, again welder being sucky. Keep in mind i dont have any fancy cutting tools at my shop for metal, i simply used a pneumatic cut off wheel and a bench grinder to make all these parts. Tomorrow ill drill the mounting holes weld in the nuts for the bolts and weld the other side in (remembering to remove plastic inner wall this time). Shop still stinks like burning and boss not very happy lol.
