Buy a Haynes manual. It's worth the money.

Lug wrench, 3/8" Allen wrench, flathead screwdriver, big hammer, 6" C-clamp, and possibly a cheater bar for the brake pads.

Ok, here's what you do. Jack the truck up, put it on jackstands. Take the front wheels off with the lug wrench. Take the calipers off by backing off the 3/8" Allen head bolts, might need a cheater bar for this. Pop the calipers off the rotors, might need to tap them with a big hammer. Pry the old outter pad off the caliper with a screwdriver. Pop the hood, take the top off the brake master cylinder. Put the 6" C-clamp on the caliper so you're pushing the inner pad toward the back of the caliper. Crank it down as far as it'll go. Take the inner pad off the caliper. Put the new pads on, put the cap back on the master cylinder, and reassemble.

You should also replace the rotors, or at least have them turned. They should come right off the hubs once you take the calipers off.

The hayne's manual I bought only had the old style single-piston removal. I had to wing it for my 01 Ram with dual-piston calipers.

I have a 2001 and a haines the brake in the book is not what is on this truck as far as how the pad is mounted, basic caliper removel is the same but the pads do not clip on as others they kinda slide on a track like assembly.to this the caliper need to be broken down after removel did mine last year, hard to explain but not hard to do once I got it figured out.
