Question 99 Ram 318 running rough??

My 99 Dodge 4x4 318 is running rough. It just started doing this yesterday. It hesitates during acceleration. I changed the plugs and wires today, no change. I can smell fuel after I get out after driving it: It smells like the fuel isn't burning correctly. No leaks. Any suggestions? Thnx

were any of the plugs wet or fouled ?? suggesting a leaky injector.
otherwise, i'd consider replace the front o2 sensor(s), as it/they control fuel trim. the rear o2 sensor (behind the cat) just checks that the front one is working and otherwise does little to nothing.

One of the plugs was wet. The rest were dry, light brown color, although well worn.

remove the new plug in the position where the old plug was wet. see if the new one is equally wet. if so - injector. they're sort of expensive. you might pick up a whole set at the junk yard cheap if funds are tight.
