best mod for your truck is a paper FSM,
official Chrysler field service manual,
all 1600 pages of it
can save over $1000 doing stuff yourself, easy

even better if you skim through it and know what is in the different chapters

ported cylinder heads are best power mod

rebuilt 46RH transmission is best reliability mod

training your brain for HyperMiler driving is best MPG improvement mod,
low rolling resistance tires 2nd,
electric block heater 3rd
aero devices for highway MPG 4th,
no fan in winter 5th

if you have a 4x4
learn about 'death wobble' and caster setting

If you are looking for power, a cam is the way to go. You can put a mild cam in for around $300 after you buy the cam, top end gasket kit, and a timing set. Other great mods would be a shift kit, tranny cooler, fastman TB, open element air cleaner, headers, muffler, high flow cat, and a good tune up with a brass cap and rotor, 8.0mm wires, and some copper core plugs.
