Default Transmission Problems?

99 Ram 1500 4x4
New plenum(july 08)

I first realized some major trouble about 2 weeks ago. When I get above 3,000 RPMS, the truck jerks as it tries to accelerate.
The acceleration is also very slow. I can put it to the floor and it just revs up but doesnt want to go. 0 to 50 takes about 12 seconds on a slight incline. Any sort of major hill, I can mash it and itll still barely be able to keep up.

No codes have shown up, trans fluid is good.

It seems to be getting worse by the day, trying to get going from a dead stop. Truck has 99,800 on it. Used for a lot of towing before 50,000. Still original trans.

Any ideas?
Any tests I can do?

It might not be the trans.

replace TPS and see if that helps. Also check the catalytic converter for clogs or check if the muffler has collapsed.

alright..how do I go about changing the TPS?

The muffler is in good condition, and the cat doesnt seem to be bad(rubber mallet test) plus the system was pressure testing when teh plenum was replaced...

had the tranny rebuilt about 10,000 miles ago, ran great for a while.

Now, whenever the fluid gets warm, the truck wont go above 3000 RPMS in any gear without losing power. Great power up to 3000RPMs but right at 3000 they jump right up to redline and its like the truck shifted into neutral.

I dont know anything about transmissions. Last time they said the problem was the clutch packs, but this doesnt sound like a clutch pack problem because its shifting fine, you just cant hit it hard or it loses all power.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
