The Auburn and Detroit talked about here aren't axles they are just the limited slip differentials inside of the axle. They replace the stock limited slip unit or open carrier depending on which your truck had stock.

There are axle swaps out there that are popular though.

i guess we will see how the trutraxx holds up to 35's its under warranty lol

Hopefully it will be fine. Knowing the quality of Eaton/Detroit products, I would think that it is probably better then what they rate it for.

What type of tire are you running (A/T, M/T)? Do you mud it or wheel it hard? These things will determine how much abuse it will see, and ultimately how long it will last.

If your detroit does end up failing look into the Powertrax No-Slip. I put one in my truck and its been great.

I remember SirHilton's or whatever his user name had put one of those in. He didn't like it and seemed to have nothing but problems with them breaking. Where is that guy? I haven't seen him around in a while.

It will hold up my friend had it with 40's. he was never easy with his vehicles he would do anything, 400 hp motor, bouncing the tires, climb it up buildings it still helled up

well still if these things are the gears i am assuming, is there a web site i can look all of these products up, probably not individually but i want to do alot of reasearch cause i want this truck when i am done with it to be the jeep rescuer, and does anyone offer an air locker for thesse trucks, cause that would be freakin awesome

I got my Auburn from a place a few hours away I found out about from Auburns website. It was the cheapest by far I found and they shipped it to me and I had it at my door the next morning. I ordered it in the afternoon and had it the next morning.

However for online sites Randy's Ring and Pinion as said above, Performance Offroad Center, and 4 Wheel Customs, are all good places to look.
