I wanted one for what seems like forever. Recently i've been looking at swaping gears to put 33's on my truck. The truetrac max's out at 32" tires which kind of hinders my choices. Im stuck with Auburn LSD, Full Detroit, or... Wait at least a year till ox comes out with the 9.25 app. Not trying to steal your thread, but i've done a lot of research on them and think they are a good choice if you want stock tire size.

I too have been waiting for a remote controlled locking rear differential,
but I have been waiting more than 12 years.
Every year,
an ARB, OX, or electra-locker was to be available for the 9.25
'next year'
I should have just swapped in years ago
a Quickchange, Ford 9, or 12 bolt GM
or found a Ram 2500 in a salvage yard with the Dana 60
but I have been waiting more than 12 years.

Eaton, who makes the Detroit products, list in the details for that limited slip unit that it is not rated for larger then 32" or 32.5" tires. I confirmed this with Randy's Ring and Pinion, and they agreed. They said it is definitely not as strong of a limited slip as the Auburn. That's why I passed on the Trutrac when I was rebuilding my Auburn (which is rated for up to 35" tires). The best solution though is the Detroit full locker, but I wasn't sure about it for street us, especially in the icy winter time. So i'm staying with Auburn for now.
