Default Body Lift Recommendations?

I am about to buy a body lift kit for my '99 1500 and was wondering if anyone knows of a good/quality kit, instead of me just buying one at random. Thanks.

There all pretty much the same, just rubber spacers.
Some kits may or may not include new longer bolts so make sure you compare price wise.

Performance Accessories makes the most complete and best designed kit. And they are definitely not rubber spacers either. Maybe 20 years ago they were, but today they are reinforced nylon blocks rated at 50,000 lbs. per square inch, CNC machined steel components, and zinc plated grade 5 hardware.

Had a PA 3" Body Lift on my '98 1500 3x3 when I had it. Installed in my garage over about 3 days working off & on. Very complete kit with excellent docs.
Some light fabrication, but nothing serious.

I've always heard to go with PA if you went with a body lift.

If all your doing is a 2" or 3" lift, then yes, I think a 2" or 3" suspension is better then a 2" or 3" body. If you want 5" or 6" lift though, then a suspension/body combo is far cheaper then a 5" or 6" suspension only. A second reason to going with a body versus a suspension is that it keeps the weight of the frame down lower and only raises the body. This helps with the center of gravity by not putting as much weight up in the air. With a suspension only lift, the body and the frame are both lifted up, making the rig more top heavy.

PA is what i got , plus it does not even look like it has a body lift .. 2 things : extend the 4x4 shifter , little square blocks under the bed so there is no sagging when you have cargo in it..
