I know that I will not keep my truck forever, so I am always looking at the new trucks by other makers.
When your old "faithful" Ram finally has to be put to pasture, what maker will you buy your next truck from?

Granted my truck and I had a rocky start, I would love to get 3rd Gen ram next.

 

I voted "other" because I don't know. I bought my '01 Ram in January, and I intend to drive her until the wheels fall off. I love the Dodge trucks, but who knows what the truck landscape will be in 10 years or so. Hopefully gas comes down, and we can stop hearing about 4 cyls. possible being put in full size trucks!

 

I would probably go with a 3rd gen Ram next time. The thought of getting a ricer truck still makes me gag!

 

I have always wanted a stepside chevy/GMC that I would tow my car to the track but also race it.

Dodge will be building the next Titan... So you'll still be driving a Dodge. Just an ugly Dodge.

 

Yea I read about the Nissan/Dodge thing in Sport Truck. A Hemi in a Nissan mini like the hardbody/frontier would be pretty sweet.

 

Thanks for the tidbit. I never buy new, so I'll probably buy a 2005-ish Titan for my next truck when I wear out this one.

Hopefully that will be a while. Still got another year and a half till this one is paid off. But looks like it will be back to Dodge after that. As long as I have a non-Ford/non-GMC based truck, I will be content I think.

 

I had to go chevy just because the trucks they have out right now. I love the 08 chevys. They have some nice options and once I start myself into the cycle of buying new instead of used I will do a 3-4 year sell and rebuy new cycle. I try to hold no allegiances anymore because honestly all the companies have their good and their bad years, the only one I am really prejudiced against I have to say is ford, but right now chevy is in the upswing and has the nicest rides. The real center console is about my favorite

 

I love the look of the 08 F-350 crew cab.

 

Ive driven almost every truck out there, and there is nothing like climbing back into my dodge. i suppose when the time comes to finally let go of my baby, which will be awhile considering how broke i am, it will def. be a dodge, and it will be a cummins. possibly a 2nd gen again but maybe a third gen. i ahvent decided on the 4th gen on how i like them, waiting for them to really get out on the road. but there is no doubt my next truck will be have ram head on the grille!
