For a cheap fix, I think it looks amazing actually. Your lines look amazing too by the way. I probably would have done like someone else suggested and brought it to the grill, then followed the body line straight down on the side. But by the time you do that, you mise well paint the whole thing. lol. Anyway like I said, in my opinion it looks like you took your time and it looks great. Prop's to someone who knows how to spray paint! I picked up a thuren track bar a few weeks ago and someone didn't know how to paint. When they threw some paint on it, it had run's galore and bubbles in the paint. Even though my roommates insisted I should throw it on anyway; "its just a trackbar that no one will see it", I still had to redo it. I just stripped it to bare metal, primed with self etching primer, and painted my trackbar with Rust Tough black semi-gloss this weekend and turned out great. Haha, sorry to thread jack a little bit.

it looks ok, the glosses dont match that well. I think if you order a black grille and put a gloss clear coat over it it will look great.

oh yea, those lines were perfect btw.

i like the satin finish cuz it reminds me of the muscle cars in the 70s. the reason i didnt go with a glossy finish was becuase i had to paint outside and glossy would have shown the small imperfections like if dust, bug, etc. would have got in it. i may later scuff it up a little and put a coat of clear on. thanks for all of your guys imput.

i use a spray can about 5 lol, the thing is to get the paint to melt together when painting,( so you don't have lines), but realy Humidity,Temperature are the key.

well maybe a little bit when painting because i would be standing over to of it, but the time it took to take it off and put it back on and trying to line it up so the hood would latch right and having it square and also to get the same gaps on both side of the fender the same.. i don't thing it would have been faster or easier

Well good to know I'm not the only one with a green ram that has faded on the hood and roof. I just assumed the ram I bought was really neglected haha.
