well got the rancho rs5000 installed yesterday, took about 4 hours with many interuptions by customers at work in between. shocks i took off werent original as i thought but they were still shot, you press one down and it takes at least 10 min to come back out lol, they were monroe sensatrac shocks i took off, 1 out of three had normal rebound time the other three just sucked. Rides alot nicer now, still bumpy obviously but it is a nicer ride and feels to handle a bit better too. Thanks for the input guys

Don't waste your money on monroe products. I've had two sets on this truck, and had nothing but problems.

I had one fail at 2000 miles WELL within their warranty period, and instead of sending me one like they said they would, they never did. I just got pissed and replaced it myself.

Now both of my front shocks are blown out (at about 15k miles).

What a joke.

I've been using Monroe's for like 30 years in my vehicles and never had a problem. Maybe you are not wiring them right and using them as like fogs instead of driving lites, they are yellow after all,

idk how many miles were on these monroes that i took out but they looked pretty old, like i said 3 out of 4 were pretty much shot so glad i pulled them out, guy at work still trying to give me sh*t saying my shocks werent bad because my tires werent chopped up and the shocks werent leaking fluid so they must be good still.... so i showed him the old shocks that werent rebounding at all and said "not bad huh?" and he walked away quietly, but still makes random jokes "hey nice looking fancy shocks u put on there, good thing u put those fancy good looking shocks makes ur truck look way better"...... sad part is hes been working on cars for 20+ years think he would know a bad shock when he see's one. oh well i think it rides alot better and thats all that matters lol
